As an intro, I really can't rave enough about The Unfolding of
Language[1]. I picked it up recently, and I can't think of any book
I've read that's a better introduction. Everybody else has given enough
recommendations otherwise. And Describing Morphosyntax is worth its
weight in gold.

Any grammar. Or the list itself.
