I can't speak for Korean, but my little Japanese would indeed lead me to say "doa o akete heya kara deta" - "door ACC. open-CONN room from went", with -CONN being a connecting form that's sometimes similar to a participle. Cheers, -- Philip Newton <philip.newton@...>
