    I say: within reasonable variations - not wildly violating _certain
basic_ universals, go with the beautiful asymmetry :) I like phonological
asymmetry personally. IMHO It adds a certain intriguing "spiciness" to a lang
- natlang or conlang... Abiding by _all_ the universals seems rather "bland"
and somewhat too auxlang-ish.
