I daresay the situation is analogical to saying _Finland_ and _Sverige_ ("Sweden") when speaking Swedish, but _Suomi_ and _Ruotsi_ when speaking Finnish. In spite of the terms not being etymologically related in the two languages, and in spite of the fact that _Ruotsi_ has no official status in Sweden it would feel patently perverse to use the Swedish terms while speaking/writing Finnish, or vice versa. /BP 8^)> -- B.Philip Jonsson mailto:melrochX@melroch.net (delete X) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~__ A h-ammen ledin i phith! \ \ __ ____ ____ _____________ ____ __ __ __ / / \ \/___ \\__ \ /___ _____/\ \\__ \\ \ \ \\ \ / / / / / / / \ / /Melroch\ \_/ // / / // / / / / /___/ /_ / /\ \ / /Melarokko\_ // /__/ // /__/ / /_________//_/ \_\/ /Eowine __ / / \___/\_\\___/\_\ Gwaedhvenn Angeliniel\ \______/ /a/ /_h-adar Merthol naun ~~~~~~~~~Kuinondil~~~\________/~~\__/~~~Noolendur~~~~~~ || Lenda lenda pellalenda pellatellenda kuivie aiya! || "A coincidence, as we say in Middle-Earth" (JRR Tolkien)
