It's notorious that English dialects most often differ in their
vowels.  In Spanish dialects, the vowels usually remain the same
(with one or two exceptions), and the variation is in the consonants.
It would be interesting to repeat your investigation with Spanish
and see whether Spanish-without-vowels is still unique.
