I believe that there are musical settings of texts (Mozarabic chant?)
from Muslim Spain that have verses in both Old Spanish and Arabic.
However, I couldn't find a good reference to this on the internet, but I
recall a doctoral candidate in the 60's having to study Arabic in order
to work on this corpus of music.
