I originally thought of obligative for "ought", coercive for "must, have
to", but that didn't seem accurate.  Intervening posts now suggest--

ought:  obligative
must/have to:  debitive (~debitative?), reflecting Lat. debere. (Or, what
was Latin for "duty"???)
