Unfortunately it's something that I became unhappy with very early on.
The sound combination is a matter of taste, but it seemed unusual to my
anglophonic ear, and too long for use as an auxiliary verb.
Hmmm. I wonder where I got it from. One of the things I'm finding as I
record anew words from 1.0 is that some words are obvious in their
origins and should be revised, but some of them are downright obscure to
me 10 years later - and probably don't need too much of a touch-up. :)
