I went to my bookstore to buy some litterature for the
courses this term and I noticed that they finally had
got a copy of Describing Morphosyntax in. Of course, I
bought it and I must agree with all you who praise it.
It really is excellent and a must have for all conlangers.
Just open any page and you will find a little gem. Every
little feature that one might want in a conlang is briefly
but very well described in just a page of two.
It's like Payne's opened my head and looked inside to
see what kind of book on typology I would like the most,
and then sat himself down and wrote it.
To all you who hesitate: Buy it! Buy it now! :)
