Albeit nowhere near the levels of development that
many on this list seem to have achieved, I conlang for
my own enjoyment.  Words/grammar fascinate me, the way
that can be assembled and re-assembled -- both for the
purpose of aesthetics and of usefulness.  Deep inside,
I also do it because I hope (quite unrealistically,
may I add) that someday I could imprint upon the world
"my language" -- one which is both visually-beautiful
as well as more precise that the clumsy natlangs.
