Haha!! Actually, if one wants to give a conlang a REALLY non-SAE feeling,
have the stressed syllable _drop_ in intonation. I think that's the secret
of good parody-Scandanavian. And I believe some Italian speakers do it too.
In Indonesian classes years ago, the textbook and tapes dealt briefly with
Jakarta dialect-- it also featured low-tone stressed syllables, which is
utterly counter-intuitive, for English speakers at least.
