May I (highly) recommend "Notes on Love in a Tamil Family"? I read it
in college and keep it around to reread. Fascinating for conlangers,
tho perhaps not with ENOUGH about grammar. Most people drown in the
profligate analyses of Tamil words and their meaning, the central of
which is ANPU "love" (more or less).
