Ooh, lots. Two words I especially like are Breton glac'har "grief" and
koulskoude "sometimes". It's a shame they don't mean something beautiful as
well. Swahili (I think) has some lovely words too. I like Kwaheri
"farewell". Amharic has some real beauts. I always think it strange that the
dictator Haile Mariam Mengistu has such a beautiful-sounding name.
Does modesty permit us to quote examples from our own conlangs,
since I think the word Alariesto "most beautiful of all" is a really
beautiful word.
But how about ugliest words as well? Speaking for English, I think "puff" is
revolting.
That is no name for a magic dragon.
