Why? It's a perfectly correct Dutch word (a friend of mine and his wife
just moved last Monday to the van Leeuwenhoekstraat in Delft :)) ),
pronounced ['le(:)uw@nhuk] (variable depending on dialect). According to
Dutch spelling rules, it is perfectly regular (yes, "oe" is the regular way
to spell /u/ in Dutch).
