Hi all,
just a quick note to re-introduce myself - I was around for a month or two
about a year ago, then left again when things got too busy. I've been
lurking again for a few weeks now and I can't resist joining in again. So
here I am!
In case anyone remembers :) my name's Jonathan Knibb, I'm from England, and
I have a single conlang which is currently lying all over the floor in
little pieces (metaphorically speaking) but is showing healthy signs of
growth and may even become usable in the near future.
It made a brief appearance on here a year ago under the name of Telona - I
seem to recall a little conversation with a couple of guys (can't remember
who) concerning allnoun languages, of which Telona is one. I posted a few
sample sentences, but I've spent the last several months revamping the
phonology so it's pretty unrecognisable now.
If I get time over the weekend I'll try and post a little about the language
if people are interested. (Cue Christophe :)) ). In the light of the
ongoing chat about number systems, I think you'll like Telona's - it's
completely impractical but quite elegant I think, governed by a number's
factors rather than any particular base.
Keep up the good work guys!
Jonathan.
