Personally, I tend to think of spring first, but the above is the traditional
order. See numerous examples in poetry, or even late-20th-century pop lyrics:
Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fa-all
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
(Yes I will)
To see you again . . .
