That's funny. As I was writing the note, I first called it lexical
density, then edited it when I thought that that might already have
some other established meaning.
Anyway, thanks for the analysis. BTW, the word for the nearest leg of
a horse is "nearleg"; analogous, I suspect, with "foreleg" and "rear
leg". And mustard fermentation has been illegal in these parts for
many a year -- a spicy drunk is a dangerous drunk, as they say.
