Go to download.com. Click on "mp3 and audio", then
click on "rippers and encoders". There are plenty
of programs to create mp3's, wav-files and to convert them into pretty much any
format you like. (A tip is
to sort by user rating.)
Oh. And the most popular mp3-player has to be Winamp.
