-er verbs(first group)
Present -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent,
Past Participle -é
-ir verbs(second group)
Present -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent
Past Participle -i
-re verbs(third group)
Present -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, ent
Past Participle -u
Mostly, it seems to me, the latter group is irregular. But what I've
given are the regular endings. Examples of recular verbs, I think, are
'manger', 'finir' and 'vendre'. The '-er' verbs mostly come from Latin
'-are' and, I think, 'ére'(Hence Spanish 'cantar' to French 'chanter'),
. The '-ir' verbs come from '-ire', and the '-re' verbs come from
'-ere', I think (Spanish 'vender', French 'vendre').
