Ooh, ooh! The author is Brian Aldiss. I don't remember the name of
the planet, though. For some reason "Perelandra" and "Malafrena"
keep circling around my head, but it isn't either of those. Perelandra
is from C.S. Lewis, isn't it? And Malafrena? Anyway, it's a name like
that. I haven't read the books, but I've seen them in bookstores...
