I haven't read them either. Just heard that they were an all time low in
hasty English -> Swedish translation... If it was the same person as
translated Aldiss' other books that appeared in Swedish I can well believe
it, though I've seen crap work elsewhere that can't possibly be sub-passed.
(People keep telling me _my_ translation work is good, but _would_ they
tell me otherwise?
ObConlang: I've actually mused on creating a future, featureless Swenglish
based on the translationese everybody reads, apparently without getting
bored, in this country.
