        I'm not really sure that a second mailing list would be all that good of an
idea. Essentially, that would be saying, "Conlang-L is a complete failture,
let's fork it so we can have two lists, Conlang-Chat and
Conlang-We-Are-Serious-About-It." Upon long reflection (this has been
something I've been thinking about for several months), I don't think a
second list would be successful. For once thing, newbies come *here*. For
another, we've got a great community (except for those wretched left-handed
Lithuanians, grrr *), and so we might as well use it. Let us not seek to bury
the patient, just because it is being uncooperative.
        Boy, I'm _really_ mixing my metaphors today.
