If you don't have any luck with the publishers, www.bookfinder.com
reports a used copy of the boxed set (including tape) for sale here:
http://www.usedbookcentral.com/cgi-bin/texis/scripts/ubc/searchbooks.html?type=exact&item=3da51efeb5
It's $24.50, which is expenseve for a tape, but less than I've seen
the set for elsewhere.
Do let us know if you manage to get a copy. I've coveted this
recording since I first heard of it (in a piece of writing by Bruce
Sterling, where he tells the story of Damocles and goes off on
tangents - my copy of the book didn't mention the tape either) and I'd
be interested to know whether it's still for sale, if only to gauge
the morality of obtaining a pirated version (not that I've had the
opportunity).
(I sent essentially this message yesterday - it was held up thanks to
SMTP server downtime, and I think ultimately lost, but it's just
possible two copies of this will turn up on the list.)
