I only have one conlang, and how that got started is buried so deep in my
memory that you'll have to wait till I'm senile to find out. However, I do
from time to time experiment with variations on my conlang, usually in the
form of some sort of related language. I start with some idea of what kind
of changes I want to incorporate and test them on basic phrases, idioms,
and sentences. There isn't a set list of things I use, just whatever I
happen to think of.
