OT: Bounces to list-owner address

I have a general list question--I've gone over my list instructions,
and following them, have sent two emails to the list owner requesting
assistance, both of which have bounced back to me.  Is the list owner
currently unavailable, or is there something other than sending an
email from my member address that I must do to request assistance?
