Re: Obsessed with Mouth Noises

This has been an interesting thread and I've enjoyed
reading all the replies to my original post.  While
I'm still not all that excited by "mouth noises" I
have certainly gained a deeper appreciation for the
importance of this branch of linguistics.  Being a
linguistic moron myself (I'm a programmer with no
linguistic training, but loads of interest) it's
always good to have the gaps in my education filled
in.  It always feels good to shake off a bit one's
ignorance. :)
