We recently had a discussion on the number of vowels in a row... I was wondering how many consonants can be put in a row in any conlang or natlang... For Dutch, I found 9 consonants in a row the longest combination: "zachtstschreidend" /zAxtstsxrEid@nt/ Meaning: "most carefully pacing" Anyone have any other examples? Maarten van Beek
