It can be syllabic, is what I meant. That probably isn't the exact
definition of "sonorant"... You can have it creaky voiced [z], though; I can
do it (for instance, try creaky-voicing /si/ in Mandarin). However,
voiceless stops, for example, can't. Well, any voiceless sound can't be,
obviously. Can voiced stops have creaky voice? Ah, yes it can! Change that
from "sonorant", then, to "voiced sounds".
