I've had thoughts of doing something similar. Sketching out a language the
phonology, a little grammar, and some vocabulary.. Then finding two or
three people to take it and make a few changes, perhaps in the sounds, or
tweaking the meaning of a word. Then continueing to process, at times
sending someone the notes, and notes on some of the other modified versions
saying, "These are neighboring forms.."
Then after a few months putting up the original version and the decendants..
