Very cool. I can tell she was at LCC (unfortunately,
it didn't get a mention by name) even though she just
refers to as the conference at Berkeley. Nice quote
from John Q, and script example of David's. And where
but John Q would she have run across "Sprachgefühl."
For myself, I'm being completely egocentric and seeing
her "if speakers lack ... vocal cords, the language's
sounds will be constrained accordingly" as referring
to the Drushek. I realize I'm projecting my own ideas
like a Rohrschach test, but there you have it. Thanks
for alerting us to the article, David.
