Oh, indeed, this is evident. If you watched all the talks, you can
tell exactly where all her information comes from--it's just
uncredited. It's kind of bizarre. As I'm starting in on the new
semester (teaching), I read this article and kept thinking, "If this
were my student, this would so count as plagiarism..." And yet,
there it is... I guess when it's being reported as news, it's okay
to paraphrase the words of others without crediting them...?
(I'm not trying to sound snide here. I think it may actually be
okay and expected.)
