Both Irina and I have been enthousiastic users of Shoebox, but Shoebox
isn't available for Unix, so I had to start my own equivalent, which
has since grown & grown... Kura doesn't parse as well as Shoebox (but
my shiny new book on natural language processing arrived yesterday),
but has a lot more presentation capabilities.
When I return from holiday, I'm going to try and wrap up the first
beta release of Kura - I need to do something with the lexicon
editor, add a few touches to the html presentation layer and do some
thorough debugging.
Afterwards, I'm going to try for some intelligence.
You can already see the html presentaion bit of Kura in action at:
http://www.valdyas.org:8000 - bear in mind that the interlinear
texts are the most interesting bit.
