Nah, shagging isn't quite the same as fucking. A shag is more of a
mutual thing than a fuck. You've got a bit of a chance (small, but it's
there) of successfully asking a girl if she fancies a shag (this is
cheeky rather than plain rude), but none if you ask if she fancies a
fuck (which is rude).
Unless you count a slap across the face as success.
