CHAT: The King of Glottal Stops Reigns Supreme!

Okay, this will/should be the last of my trivial notes
for the day.  I think my ultimate word is "apartment",
which I pronounce /@"p'Q?m@~?/  Is this idiosyncratic?
 Do you ever catch yourself pronouncing certain words
in a way not like those around you?  Is this a
linguistically recognized phenomenon?  I have a very
"globalized" accent, having picked up things from a
lot of different states and countries, and it drives
people nuts trying to figure out where I'm from.
Sometimes I'm really self-conscious of my accent.
