Perhaps an official apology from Charles would help Fabian change
his mind. Oh, and the reason I am writing the suggestion here as
opposed to Charles is because I do believe he has set up a mail
filter to be able to blissfully ignore my occasional comments.

Yes! Please Fabian! The conlang t-shirt is one of
the coolest ideas on this list since I joined!
And it would be like the coolest christmas gift ever!
EVER!!! Do you hear that Fabian? Don't give up now!
I have used exlamation marks after every sentence in
this mail, so you'd better believe I really mean it!
We are so encouraging you!
Hoping for a soft parcel under the christmas tree
this year. :)

Well, as to apologies, let me make one for myself;
I may not have done much flaming, but I'm aware of accidentally fanning the
flames, particularly at the start of the debate, for which I wholeheartedly
apologise to the whole list.
I also want to encourage Fabian to consider reopening the t-shirt project, and
suggest that the final say on any aspect of the design of it should rest
incontrovertably in his hands, and really ought not be discussed any further in
a public forum. Speaking personally, I'd suggest that Fabian should accept
private emails with suggestions, but need not be bound by (nor even reveal) any
of them. This is an idea that has so much promise that to abandon it for any
reason would be a great shame.
I am aware that others on the list also suggested (in the early days of the
project) doing all the leg-work in putting the t-shirt together. Perhaps, if
Fabian no longer wishes to be involved, any other volunteers should discuss it
with him privately, that he might coordinate a hand-over of information in the
most effective way.
