I spent last week in Japan and this week catching up on email. One =
of
the last emails I came across in Conlang before I got the number unread =
down
to zero was this.

In Gladilatian exponentiation is denoted by having the exponent, with
the attribute "nmut", modify the base, so 5^7 would be "nmuthzut wefe".

Division is denoted by using the preposition "mnat" with the noun =
form
of the denominator, so 7/3 would be "mnathrnuot hzut". Multiplication is
formed simply by one number modifying the other, so 5*7 would be "wefe
hzut".
Grouping is denoted through the use of relatives, so (5*7)/3 would be
"mnathrnuot mep wefe hzutot u", or "that which is five sevens divided by
three", with Glad. grammatical rules making it clear that "divided by =
three"
modifies "that". 5*(7/3) would be "mep mnathrnuot hzutot wefe u", or =
"five
of that which is seven divided by three".
vocabulary:
hrnu ad. three
hzut ad. seven
mep r. who/which (intrinsic)=20
mnat p. composed of, divided into, divided by
nmut at. meta-, hyper-
ot su. (abstractor - for numbers this turns the ad. form into a =
n.)
u n. something (general placeholder)
wefe ad. five
abbreviations:
ad. adjective
at. attribute (essentially an adjectival prefix)
n. noun
p. preposition
r. relative
su. suffix
Being a mathematician, I've developed mathematical terminology for
Glad. more than most conlangers, at least relative to how much I've
developed other terminology. AFAIK, Gladilatian is the only conlang with
words for specific transfinite cardinals.
