Actually, there's at least one example of this:
/canuy/ "sword (NOM)" is ['Gany:]
What's important aint the following consonant or not, but whether the
vowel+semivowel combination is followed by another vowel.
Also, most unsurprising, Kalini Sapak has voicing assimilation in consonant
klusters. Eg:
/akzal/ "womanhood; womankind" is ['aksal]
