"SAT" is Standardized Achievement Test, I think. It's the standardized
college entry exam in U.S. Universities.
AP is Advanced Placement, IIRC. I only know that because some of my
American friends are taking AP courses. Basically, it's a way of getting
college credits while still in High School.

I find it odd that there would be *NO* universities in Italy with a
Linguistics program. Keep lookin'.
