Pretty much yes. His ranting against English and Spanish, his nonsense about
the "phonetic types" (we still don't know what it is), the "linguistic law"
(nor this) and an international auxiliary language should follow
that "linguistic law" which he has never been able to define, this is pretty
much auxlanging! ;))

Actually, he said himself that he couldn't create the language himself, that he
would need a team of linguists to do that. According to *his* principles and
prejudices of course :)) .
I still remember how surprised I was to see him arguing *against* the Mandarin
3rd person pronoun ta (don't know the tone) because it *didn't* distinguish
sexes!!!! Hence my remark that auxlangers really only want what they don't
already have ;))) .

Well, I don't find the land Dorothy visited absurd enough compared to the land
Alice visited. After all, Wonderland did have a conlanger: Humpty Dumpty! ;)))
