Don't ask auxlangers to be consistent. You know they don't know the meaning of the word :)) .
> > Oh yeah, I remember that guy. Was he actually an auxlanger?
Pretty much yes. His ranting against English and Spanish, his nonsense about the "phonetic types" (we still don't know what it is), the "linguistic law" (nor this) and an international auxiliary language should follow that "linguistic law" which he has never been able to define, this is pretty much auxlanging! ;)) I didn't

Actually, he said himself that he couldn't create the language himself, that he would need a team of linguists to do that. According to *his* principles and prejudices of course :)) . I still remember how surprised I was to see him arguing *against* the Mandarin 3rd person pronoun ta (don't know the tone) because it *didn't* distinguish sexes!!!! Hence my remark that auxlangers really only want what they don't already have ;))) . and he was trying to sell

I wonder how many books he actually sold. I mean, he must have paid a lot to have them printed in the first place...

LOL :) .

Well, I don't find the land Dorothy visited absurd enough compared to the land Alice visited. After all, Wonderland did have a conlanger: Humpty Dumpty! ;))) Some of our beloved auxlang propagandists seem

I was about to say that it was their head, but I managed to refrain from it. Oops! ;))) Christophe. http://rainbow.conlang.free.fr Take your life as a movie: do not let anybody else play the leading role.
