I know a woman who said that she "never understood the concept of
boredom". I'd disagree with calling it a concept, it seems more an
emotion, but at any rate, I suppose that her mindset was one in which
"nothing to do" was not a bad thing. That, I suppose, is where the
emotion of boredom comes from.
