I'd go for Mandrake, Slackware or S=FCse - Redhat still has something against KDE and almost all problems reported with KDE come from Redhat users. In any case, very few distributions already have KDE 1.1.2, so you can just grab the source from www.kde.org, configure, make and make install (mind the libpng problems, though!), and forget about the rpm's. It's all fairly simple, really. The Qt libraries in your distribution are probably current enough.

I meant to prepare it this weekend, but I was sidetracked a bit by the most involved binge I've been on since years - it all started when a couple of collegues proposed to have a beer in the local pub... Great fun, but I ended up feeling a bit brackish ;-). But the redesign of the database interface is ready, I=20 will now proceed to define the repository and do something to=20 split texts in elements. Next weekend, I thing.
