Every conlang I've ever made has cases, always at least nominative/ergative, accusative/absolutive, genetive, and dative, and frequently an instrumental as well. Also, most are agglutinating, and I've never liked isolating, I've attempted it, but I didn't like it. Most have an inclusive/exclusive distinction in first person, and usually some form of gender. -- "Old linguists never die - they just come to voiceless stops." - anonymous http://members.tripod.com/~Nik_Taylor/X-Files http://members.tripod.com/~Nik_Taylor/Books.html ICQ: 18656696 AIM Screen-Name: NikTailor
