That's quite true in the Netherlands, too. In fact, my
great-grandmother's mother is said to have been, well,
encountered by the Prince Consort, Prins Hendrik. The
Prince was rather bored by his wife, or so I am told.
My ggg-m was managed a ferry at that time.
