When at University we were told during the exam for Comparative
Linguistics, that we could give answers in any European language,
most American, African and Asian languages, but that papers written
in Malay would take somewhat longer to process, since the professor
specialised in Austronesian was on sabbatical ;-)... I think that
on this list there's bound to be someone who can read a message
in an obscure natlang, but if you've got something you want to
tell everybody about, English is perhaps the best choice, I'm
afraid - but nobody is going to flame anyone for his command of
it, I'm sure.
