Welcome! You probably noticed already, that there are quite a few musicians on the list. Just curious, where will you find the time for conlanging and follow the list? ;)

The best way to deal with igrorance is to ask the right people.

Well, that depends very much. In my case it is mostly a matter of "filling up some gaps". For example: I was always fascinated by comparing Indo-European language families. Soon, I felt sorry that there weren't any more of them than there actually were, so I started creating a new family myself. When I was learning Polish and Russian (and toying a bit with Slavonic languages in general) I decided that there ought to be a North-Slavonic branch as well, so I started creating it. The same thing with music: I create those things that meet my own taste. Not because I want to create them so much, but because I regret that somebody else didn't...

Yours sincerily, Jan ===== "You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe." --- J. Michael Straczynski __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
