I don't know squat about Arabic, but I might learn some
if you tell us what you think the similarities are.
Myself, I think the tengwar look suspiciously like Sanskrit,=20
at least as far as the way it is systemized. Bilabial, dental,
etc. to the right and plosive, nasal, etc. downwards.=20
It forms a neat table. Just like Sanskrit. And then some=20
extra symbols for the phonemes that didn't fit into the
table.
