In fact there is no supernatural in Lovecraft's books, and that's what
I like. Everything that happens in his world is perfectly compatible
with the laws of this world. Even the Great Elder Ones don't obey all
the physics laws only because they come from outside our Universe, from
other plans where laws are different. The Elder Ones are the perfect
example of alien beings that are completely natural, even if they are
completely foreign (not animal nor vegetal, able to re-live after being
frozen for millennia, etc...). That's exactly what I do in my stories
(even if in mine, the Universe is a little bit easier to live in :) ):
there is no supernatural, even magic has its place in the Universe.

I've bookmarked it. I'll see it when I have more time for it.
