That's a good word. An equivalent in Kélen would be an-tóxreña, from the root tóx- 'slow', it originally described the situation of going down a slow river-- inconvenient, yet with patience one would get there, and at the end of the river is the port, and wealth. Another word I came up with is an-sáknenúren, which contains the roots sák- 'volcano' and núr- 'anger, rage'. This word describes the anger, rage, and fear directed against something that has already happened and cannot be undone nor balanced. Also, an-tálaten, from tá- 'deep, height, drop', which describes the feeling of inevitably moving towards something bad. -- Sylvia Sotomayor sylvia1@ix.netcom.com wa jamú anániTa; (not.be thing.SG one/alone.ADJ) The Kélen language can be found at: http://home.netcom.com/~sylvia1/Kelen/kelen.html
