I'll testify to that. I was forcibly upgraded (first to Win 3.11, which was
okay; then to Win 95, which made me cry for a month and then was okay; now
to Win Me, which STILL makes me cry after over two years of use...) and they
got progressively worse in terms of stability. With 3.11, the blue screen
of death thing was so rare as to be traumatic. Now I try to play a game --
how many times will I see it today? How often do I really HAVE to save my
work (all of MS Office is set to save every 2 minutes)? Etc...
