When I am plagued by boredom and/or anxiety, I find that working on a
conlang or a dictionary helps to dispel foolish thoughts. So it is
somewhat medicinal.

"When I get this feeling, I need lexical healing."

On the subject of time, remember that Time is the only commodity which
you can never re-purchase after you have sold it. (Well, I suppose a
kidney would match that description too.)
